by the lapis lazuli round my neck

This deep blue stone with its golden specks reminds me of the night sky. When the moon is new, the heavens over the mountain ridge are alive with stars. Revealing the constellation of our lives, Lapis shows the truth of things. It is not a cold or hard truth, but rather a reassuring clarity. Lapis Lazuli brings this vast and ageless wisdom to the palm of a hand. The clouds have passed and now an unobstructed view is available. It also helps to ease stress and promote calm. In the universe of Lapis, there is not fear or anxiety, but rather a sense of belonging and curiosity. We can remember our own value and give voice to our perspective. But I should note, Lapis does not like a bully. Each person is an important part of the constellation.

Others say he is attended by twelve gods, representing the twelve vows he made upon becoming a Buddha. His main objective is to cure us of ignorance which is considered the most fundamental of all illnesses. He grants nourishment to our mind and body, hears our wishes, and helps us to find that which is rare and pure.
